I wish I didn't have to wait 2 more days for the Kindle edition, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

I prepaid for my kindle edition...which waiting until Friday is fine since I doubt even if I bought it today I could get to it....can't wait though.......I will however have to get an actually book, but for now I will be happy with the kindle edition.

I just drove to the nearby town to pick up my copy. I just can't give up holding an actual book in my hand yet. So excited to sip my hot chocolate and start reading. Here I go!

This message is for Anita-
I just finished reading the Passage on the Titanic book. It was amazing one of my favorites of yours (and I've read them all). I have a question to ask and I hope it's not to personal. In the epilogue of the book you mentioned the ether and Irene's possible use of it on the titanic. Was this fact? Inspiration? Happy Ending made up? Just wondering. I really did just adore this book. I couldn't get enough of it. That was something that I was feeling as I was reading this book. How as a mother would I help my children be calm enough through the ordeal and I really really liked the idea of using the ether. So I could tell them "this will help you sleep and when you wake up we will be in a better place". Thank you so much for that and for all your books they are all so touching. Especially this last one!

Liz, This is from Anita...

Obviously, no one KNOWS what happened on the Titanic when it was sinking. That's why I included this in a dream, so it wouldn't be presented literally. I felt that, based on Irene's character and the things she had available, it might be a possibility of something she might do. Technically, that's fiction---obviously. But it does metaphorically illustrate how she probably would have been spending her final time. ~Anita
